Role Required: Admin

Instructions

You can add as many users as you need. To add a new user to an account or property:

In Google Analytics, click Admin.(Click the Settings Cog in the BOTTOM LEFT CORNER)
Make sure you are in the correct account and property.

In the Account or Property column (depending upon where you want to add users), click Account Access Management – if there is more than one property to analyse. (FIRST COLUMN)
In the Account/Properties permissions list click +, then click Add users. (TOP-RIGHT)
Enter the email address – in this case katrina@rankingaustralia.com.au
Select Notify new users by email to send a message to me.
Select the Administrator Role.
Click Add. (TOP-RIGHT)

Google Tag Manager

Access Required: Administrator + User
Additional Permissions Required: SET ALL + Publish, Approve, Edit & Read

Instructions

Click Admin. (TOP LEFT) - Then in the Account column, select User Management. (FIRST COLUMN)

Click (TOP RIGHT)

Select Add new users. (POP UP - TOP RIGHT)
Enter one or more email addresses.
Set Account Permissions.
- Select User, Select Administrator, Click Set All – (BOTTOM RIGHT)
- Add a tick in ALL BOXES to SET ALL Permissions, then click DONE. (TOP RIGHT)
- Click "Invitation" to send invite to new administrator.

Google Business Profile

Access Required: Owner

Instructions

Go to your Business Profile. Learn how to find your profile.

Click Menu (three dots)

Business Profile settings
Click People and access.
At the top left, click Add
Enter a name or email address - COPY & PASTE katrina@rankingaustralia.com.au
Under 'Access', choose Owner or Manager.
Click Invite
Repeat this process for stuart@ckpcreative.com.au

Please Note: Owner Access is required to setup your live data dashboard.

Google Ads

Access Required: Manager Access

Instructions

1. Retrieve Your Ads Account ID
You will find this next to the Google Ads Logo (TOP LEFT OR RIGHT – e.g. XXX-XXX-XXXX) – Add it in the form below. You can also click on your picture icon in TOP RIGHT -

2. Send your Google Ads Account ID to Ranking Australia in the form below. This is so we can request management access from our side.

3. Approve our request to manage your ads via Email

Instructions

Open the Domain Property (e.g. website.com.au – not URL Property) in Search Console.

What it would have looked like during set-up...

Open the Users and permissions page in property settings (Settings > Users and permissions). This page is visible only if you're a property owner.
Click Add user
Enter the email listed – katrina@rankingaustralia.com.au
Repeat for - stuart@ckpcreative.com.au
Choose the permission level (OWNER) then click ADD

Please Note: If this doesn’t exist (we will need to verify by adding a TXT Record to your DNS Records – this is where your website is hosted – not your domain)

WordPress

How to Open: Usually https://yourdomain.com.au/wp-admin
(Contact Your Web-hosting Company for Access if you are unsure)

Access Required: Administrator

Step-by-step Instructions

Log in to your WordPress website. When you're logged in, you will be in your 'Dashboard'.
Click on 'Users'. On the LEFT-HAND-SIDE, you will see a menu. ...
Click 'Add New'. ...
Set Email and Username as katrina@rankingaustralia.com.au
Password – please let it auto-generate
Set the role to Administrator
Click 'Add New User'.
Repeat this process for stuart@ckpcreative.com.au.
